A Place to Stand

Seeing Canada geese in Germany always brings a quiet sense of home. This painting grew from those moments by the water, where familiarity and belonging seemed to meet. Rather than painting the bird alone, I wanted to capture the feeling it left with me, a reminder that home can find us in unexpected places.
