Small Finds • A Different Kind of Blue

Like a splash of purple in the tall golden grass this Blue-violet Chicory grows where others struggle. On a dry and dusty path at the field’s edge this wildflower was thriving. Like the wild daisy it too opens and closes with the rise and fall of the sun.
